Our people are our greatest asset. The team at Hanya’s Hope lives and breathes the philosophies and mission of the organization and continues to search for new avenues to help society’s most vulnerable.

Roseanne Parans

Roseanne Parans is responsible for Global Risk and Insurance for Cott Corporation, with a focus on insurance coverage, claims and loss prevention. Roseanne regularly speaks at the Risk and Insurance Management Society’s (RIMS) Annual Conference for the Food Processing and Beverage Industry and has been a regular guest over the last 20 years. She also sits on the Insurance Client Advisory Board for one of the largest global insurance carriers and is a member of several government and industry associations. Furthermore, Roseanne has made representations to lawmakers, regulators and industry associations in Canada, the U.S. and UK.

Roseanne is committed to raising funds and spearheading initiatives to support our most vulnerable.

Sharon Clarke

Sharon Clarke is a successful Dublin-born entrepreneur who has been involved in various businesses, including owning a surgical, cosmetic and medical distribution company. For more than 25 years she was in the business of helping women change their lives and feel good about themselves. Sharon was also integral in the initial development of Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day — which continues in over 36 countries around the world helping breast cancer survivors understand their post-surgical options. Following a number of successful years in sales and marketing Sharon started her own medical company in the late 90s. Through her passion for Hanya’s Hope, Sharon believes that a difference can be made in the lives of children who need help and support.

Carrie Rowan

An entrepreneur since age 17, Carrie Rowan has a track record of startup success.  With nine successful business ventures spanning a variety of verticals, Carrie has a variety of experience contributing to her diverse business acumen. She has been praised and quoted by the Canadian business media for her hands-on management style. Carrie was recognized in 2005 as Canadian Young Entrepreneur of the Year and awarded by Profit Magazine in 2006-2008 as founding and managing one of Canada’s 100 fastest growing businesses. At the age of 28, Canadian Business Magazine awarded Carrie as one of the Top 100 female business leaders in Canada. Her most recent venture, Zenbar Healing Studio, allows Carrie to combine her passion for wellness with her entrepreneurialism. Along with being a proud mother, Carrie has a passion for speaking out for those without a voice. She’s proud to support ocean conservation, animal rights and Hanya’s Hope.

Lesley Invidiata

Lesley Invidiata has worked with Air Canada as a purser for 27 years. On retirement in 2000 she joined the Maycourt of Oakville volunteer organization for 12 years working in many fundraising capacities, including women’s shelters, scholarship programs and others. Lesley has also worked with the Lunch Box Program, in which she delivers healthy snacks to approximately 20 schools across the GTA. What’s more, Lesley has worked with Wellspring, a community-based support service for those touched by cancer. Impressively, Lesley has helped her daughter Shae in establishing her charity Free-Them, which fights against human trafficking.

Hisham Kaloti

Dr. Hisham Kaloti is a dental artist who relies on conservative procedures to enhance the health, function, beauty and rejuvenation of smiles. He has been the dentist of choice for over 10,000 patients over 15 years in 4 states and two provinces. Dr. Kaloti dedicates time every year to conduct a Dental Makeover Contest where the winner receives a smile makeover pro bono. He also dedicates time to providing dental care to impoverished communities in Haiti, Mexico, and Somalia through the Kaloti Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving children’s oral health world-wide. Dr. Kaloti is a dedicated father and passionate advocate for children’s rights.

Shelley Fine

Shelley Fine is well known in the real estate business. With over 28 years of experience, Shelley is an expert in negotiation and finding the best fit for her clients. From the age of 12, Shelley has been volunteering and doing charity work. For a total of 25 years, she has volunteered at Mount Sinai Hospital and in the hospital’s EOPS unit, and for 20 years she has been on the National and Toronto Boards of Canadian Hadassah-WIZO, for which she has chaired two galas and a major walk. Showing that she is willing to put herself to work, Shelley has built with Habitat for Humanity as well as helping many more charities over the years. In 2015, Shelley received an Ontario Volunteer Service Award and was chosen to carry the medal Rick Hansen received for his initial Man in Motion across Canada event for a leg in the Rick Hansen Man in Motion 25th Anniversary World Tour — an honour for continued volunteering in the community.

Shelley is passionate and driven about helping those who are in need and cannot help themselves.
